    DescriptionPatchwork quilt. Pink and Blue Nine patch. Approximately 4 1/2” square blocks, 13 across width, 16 down length of quilt. Cotton. Bright blue and bright pink blocks alternating over quilt top. Hand pieced. Hand quilted with white thread in fan pattern. Pieced back of large sections of striped, solid, floral print cotton fabrics. On sides, back is folded over to front to form binding. At top and bottom is blue applied binding. Thick cotton batting. 5” wide machine applied muslin hanging sleeve at back top. Number “8” in black marker at proper right top corner, left back lower corner. Small orange patch on front 4th block from right on lower edge. Small white patch on upper back, left of center
