Center of quilt is framed by 2” wide strips of multiple patterns and colors, a 4” wide row of half-square triangles, two 6” wide rows of vertical strips, separated by more 2” wide strips of multiple fabrics. The four corners are large triangles centered with patchwork half square triangle blocks, surrounded by 2” wide rows of various fabric. Machine pieced, hand quilted tin dark green thread. Dark Green cotton back, folded over self binding. Medium loft batting.
Label at proper right lower back, white fabric printed in ink: “All Star” Piecer De Ella Pringle, Qulilter, Virginia Thompson.
White hanging sleeve at top back.

DescriptionPatchwork Quilt. Numerous cotton prints in multiple colors. All blocks and strips sewn on diagonal. Central portion of quilt consists of 16” square center block in Eight Point Star pattern, pieced on green background, with half square triangle blocks between points. Quarter square cornerstones of central portion are in “Windmill” pattern variation.
